Pre Spring Fling

Howdy Folks, due to the fact the ADG tour was down one event for this year the Perth Disc Golf Club has kindly volunteered to fill in the missing spot.

Perth Disc Golf Club would like to invite disc golfers of all skill levels to compete in Perth’s second A-tier event for 2009.

This two-day event will be played at different venues: the exciting new layout at South Guilford and the 20-year old home of disc golf in WA – Rob Hancock Memorial at Cockman reserve in Greenwood. South Guilford will be the venue on day one.

A five minute drive from the Perth airport, this riverside course is an appealing mix of tight fairways and some long, wide-open holes for those who have got the power.

The Swan River is a nice backdrop but also makes a formidable OB.

Back at Rob Hancock Memorial on the second day we’ll make the adjustment to shorter holes as we thread the needle through the usual technical challenges with a addition of a few new twists, such as the dreaded ‘island hole’.

Come along and enjoy the challenge and camaraderie that only a tough, two-day tournament can produce.

With the rapid improvement of the sport in WA we’ll have some of the best disc golfers in the country on show.
