It just so happened that the weather gods were in our favor, and incredibly nothing bad happened the whole time, which is odd because usually that gives me something to write about. We chatted a lot about the success that the pilot was and we had a good brainstorming session over what our strategy should be from now on.
Kurt is simply just not happy with the turnouts and we were all fresh out of ideas on how to make it happen. There were some really good ideas floating around from other people and the Sydney Disc Golf Club will be working hard in the future to make some of these things come to reality. Along with that we continue working on getting a couple of permanent courses put in around the Sydney area and progress on that has been very promising.
Since we don’t want to become known as “talk a lot, but do little”, we played a third round (very casual…) in which we all emptied our bags to try to get an ace on hole 8 (hole 16 in the Championship course, you know, the one over the fountain), I think there were about 50 attempts (at least) but no one got it… maybe next time.
(And that is Sunday the 19th of November; MM 017)
Thanks
Albert
