Insurance is a requirement of most councils so any clubs or individuals running leagues are advised to embrace this new initiative from ADG.
Players can also act – tell your league organiser to get insured! It’s just $0.50 per person, per league day.

Obtaining league insurance
In order to obtain insurance coverage for your league day you need to report the number of players at the event to the ADG. The charge is 50c per person per league day. As the organizer of the event it is your responsibility to keep a record of who played. All new players are required to join the ADG, membership is free and can be done by filling in the membership form.
6 easy steps to get your league day insured
- Record who is playing in the event
- Identify any new players and get them to fill in an ADG membership form (online or paper version) or collect the following information- name, date of birth, gender, address, phone number and email.
- Run the league
- After the event, get online and sign-up any new players as ADG members atwww.australiandiscgolf.com/membership/join
- Fill in the form league numbers for ADG or email secretary@australiandiscgolf.com with the following information: club name, date of league, total number of players, number of new players and whether they are now ADG members.
- Invoices will be sent to clubs every 6 months (July and Dec).
