In early December the Geelong crew held the first Anne-hyzer Dryzdale Classic event at the newly discovered Drysdale Park location just outside of Geelong. This new area offers a significantly different experience to most courses in Australia and provides some interesting challenges. Players played 6 baskets on 18 tees including some very tight technical holes and some great opportunities for big arms to let loose as well…
Two rounds were played on the newly designed layout. Most players were also competing for State and National ADG Bag Tags during the event, so both rounds were filled with pressure to perform. In the end though, Andrew ‘Fergie’ Ferguson came through again, beating Drew Muller by 4 strokes for another local win. Unfortunately Cassie Anderson had to retire her second round due to injury.
