Sydney Disc Golf Open 2008

SDGO Tournament directors Kurt Karlsson and Albert Munoz and Club President Luke Williams would like to invite you to play at this year’s Sydney Disc Golf Open (an Australian Disc Golf A-Tier National Tour Event).

Both days will be held at the Sydney Olympic Park Disc Golf Course, Newington Armory.

There will be 2 rounds of 18 holes of disc golf on Saturday and 1 round of 24 holes for everybody on Sunday (followed by a final 12 holes for all division leaders after lunch). There will be a mix of permanent holes, modified permanent holes and new ones using portable targets. There will be new challenges for everybody!

Man what a weekend of disc golf the weather couldn’t have been better and the competition was hot in all divisions. I would like to thank all those who helped with the Perth Open this year couldn’t have done it without you guys. I would also like to thank SWEET VIOLETS FLORIST for sponsoring our event they helped us pay for the booking of the parks and etc…

Kim Holmes – Mens Master
Stuart Adams – Mens Recreational

This year we also gave out the "Player’s Player" award and this went out to Paul Arden One it was for making the trip over to play in our event and also for the help and knowledge he dished out to people on the two days of competition.
