Guerilla Disc Golf 002

Another extremely hot day in Melbourne for the second Guerilla Disc Golf event. I think players are definitely looking forward to some cooler weather for the next event. I was armed with about 10 litres of water and assorted beverages as well as plenty of food, all of which was gone by the end of the day. Setup was relatively smooth this time with a few holes changing due to fallen trees and slightly more difficult tee placements (courtesy of Ian Bycroft).

Oceania Disc Golf Classic

Despite the oppressive heat (36 on Saturday and 41 on Sunday) we saw nine players for the first round on Saturday and eight players for the second round on Sunday including two players from interstate (NSW). Play kicked off at around 2pm on Saturday with three groups of three setting out on the 18 hole course. For the competition nine additional tee placements were created similar to the GSO with a few modifications to keep things interesting.
