Thank you to all those who came down to cockman park for a great day of disc golf and also to those  people who helped out on the day. And welcome Kirk Severson from Minnesota and also Emil Isakson and Linda Blomster from Sweden.

It was a perfect day for disc golf with temperatures in the 30’s and no breeze at the start even though the Fremantle doctor came in half way through the second 9 it didn’t effect to many though.

The men’s open division was challenged  by all but by the end of the first nine 4 players really stood out with a chance of winning and on the second nine it was really turning into a drivers game.  Congratulations to John Damiani for taking out the men’s open with a score of 53 closely followed with Christian with a 54.

With only two players in the advanced group it was always going to be a good one. Even though Andrew Hutcheon nailed a great 15 meter put on hole 4 it still didn’t help with Paul Denyer taking out the advanced with a score of 68.

With only Kim Holmes in the Master’s group it wasn’t hard for him to take it out mind you not to take anything away from him he did shoot a 60 for eighteen holes and that is only 2 of his personal best score and beat half the field so well done Kim.

With the recreational group being the largest group of the day and was always going to be the best battle of the day with the lead swapping several times but well done to Kris Kohout for taking it out in the end with a score of 66.

Welcome to all the ladies coming down to compete in there first tournament playing close to this group I could here how much fun they had on the day well done to Sarah Rowles for winning the ladies with a score of 90.
