Unfortunately, the MM crew did not receive the M-14s on time, and hence we once again had to haul out the heavy baskets to hold yet another installment of Madd Macqs Disc Golf.
The effort was well worth it, with our very own Dr. Kurt establishing yet another course record which now stands firmly at 47 (14 strokes under par ?!?!) during the first round of play. Among other notable events, we had our closest ace ever, with newcomer Scott Ceasar having a disc go through the chains at the 15th hole, lots of hoots were heard across the course on that one. For the second round, we were joined by a group of about 6 recreational players who were there to play the basket course for the first time. For the next installment of Madd Macq’s we shall have the M-14s (for sure this time, I promise), which should give way to improving many people’s scores.
MADD MACQ’S 008 is set for Sunday the 12th of March.
